EMMA is located at the WeeGee Exhibition Centre, which includes also three other museums: the Espoo City Museum KAMU, the Finnish Toy Museum Hevosenkenkä, the Finnish Museum of Horology and, additionally, the Futuro House is open for public during the summer. EMMA's membership entitles you to a free-of-charge entrance to EMMA. Visiting the other museum of WeeGee centre still requires buying a WeeGee ticket. There is a free entry to all WeeGee museums on Friday nights between 5pm and 7pm.
Background: EMMA's Members were originally an association called Friends of EMMA.
EMMA's friendship society was established over a decade ago, before the museum was opened, in order to support the foundation of a museum of modern art in Espoo. Friends of EMMA have always had a central role in the establishment and development of the museum. Now the operations are continued by the EMMA's Membership Programme.
