Accessibility

EMMA is an accessible museum. The exhibitions in the 2nd floor are conveniently accessible by lift and the circulation route is threshold-free with ample space for assistive devices. Strollers, wheelchairs and walkers are available for loan at the entrance. Our personnel will be happy to assist.

Info: The information desk and ticket office are in the foyer of the WeeGee Exhibition Centre.

Wheelchairs: The main entrance is wheelchair-accessible. Maxicabs are welcome to pick up and drop off visitors at the main entrance. The address for taxi orders is Ahertajantie 5, Espoo. Wheelchairs and walkers are available for loan at the entrance.

Guide dog: Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome.

Cloakroom: There are free lockers on the ground floor and a self-service cloakroom at basement level (K). Please stow winter coats, umbrellas, large bags, backpacks and bike helmets in the lockers or the cloakroom.

Lift: The wheelchair-accessible lift next to the café travels to all floors.

Workshops: EMMA’s workshops are suitable for people with disabilities and mobility impairments.

Guided tours: Assistive listening devices are available for guided tours. Please book ahead via EMMA’s Customer Service.

Restaurant: The restaurant is on the ground floor.

Museum shop: The EMMA Shop is on the ground floor.

WC: Wheelchair-accessible toilets are found on the ground floor, 2nd floor and at basement level (K). Unisex toilets can be found next to the Collection Kakkonen exhibition on the ground floor.

Child care: Child care facilities are found at basement level (K) next to the toilets.

Strollers: Strollers are available for loan at the entrance.

Quiet room: Visitors are welcome to use the museum’s quiet room on request. Please contact our personnel.
