Culture tour in the metro
This guided tour showcases the art, architecture and history of the new metro stations west of the capital. We’ll start the tour at the front doors of the WeeGee centre, from where we’ll walk to the Tapiola Metro Station and take a metro to Kivenlahti. From Kivenlahti we will travel back to Tapiola stopping at each new station on the way. Maximum 20 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. You will need a valid metro ticket covering zones BC to take the tour. Otherwise free admission! In Finnish.
This tour of public artworks in Tapiola is conducted by jogging. The Art Run is led by sports instructor Rani Saarinen, who is also a guide at EMMA.
Queer Guided Tour
The guided tour visits the works of EMMA’s current exhibitions through gender and sexual diversity.
Metamorphosis – Part II + Q&A
Metamorphosis – Part II is a slowly changing painterly event that appears different depending on the viewing angle. The performance is part of an interdisciplinary exhibition created for EMMA’s space by artist Hannaleena Heiska and dancer-choreographer Minna Tervamäki.
