Espoo Museum of Modern Art
SURFACE – Change Lies in Time is a unique sound & movement piece by the Ona Kamu collective and their team of collaborators. By inviting visitors to slow down and reflect, the piece explores possibilities for engaging in meditative contemplation in the context of a museum. The audience is free to choose their vantage point and how long they will wish to view the piece. SURFACE offers more than just a walk-through experience of an art exhibition: it invites viewers to partake in a moment of mindfulness.
To ensure that the piece is financially accessible to as many people as possible, the performances are scheduled to coincide with the museum’s free admission evenings.
