Karoliina Loimaala: GARNNN Dance Performance
GARNNN is a dance piece for the body and for yarn. In the work, Karoliina Loimaala explores the materiality of yarn. The dance unfolds through everyday gestures, games, and play, as well as in “flesh poems” that play with language. A flesh poem is a playful, body-oriented method of working with text, developed by Loimaala. The poems are formed especially through the feel of words and follow their own internal logic. The performance is based on the original piece GARNNN, created in collaboration with dancers Anni Kaila and Anna Stenberg. The audience is free to stay for as long as they wish.
Included in the museum entrance fee (20/10€, free entry for under 18-year-olds).
We accept the Museum Card.
