Between the core and the shell of a peppercorn lies a tiny space. What happens when the pepper breaks? Voler, écrire, lance-pierre explores the secret space released in the moment of crushing – a space that disperses into the surroundings like a breath.

The artist describes the performance as follows: “Peppercorns are everything – they are my flesh, my blood, games, comfort and safety, a gateway to faraway places, memories, spaces. I visit these bodily spaces through meditative, practical actions.” In addition to materiality, the work dives into language through the texture and physicality of words.

The performance includes pink peppercorns. It is a durational journey that visitors are welcome to experience for as long as they wish.

Included in the museum entrance fee (20/10€, free entry for under 18-year-olds).

We accept the Museum Card.
