April Jazz Club + WeeGee: Mikko Innanen – Ingebrigt Håker Flaten
April Jazz Club + WeeGee is a series of intimate concerts in museum surroundings. The series is a co-production between April Jazz Club, Exhibition Centre WeeGee and EMMA. On Fridays, we offer free admission from 3pm onwards.
Both Mikko Innanen and Ingebrigt Håker Flaten are masters of their respective instruments. The two composer-musicians have won multiple awards and are well-known for both their own bands and many other ensembles, including Atomic, The Thing, Antti Lötjönen Quintet East and Kalle Kalima K-18. This highly anticipated meeting of the bass guitar and the saxophone pushes the limits of free expression.
