An Italian Brunch in the Spirit of Art
Come and enjoy a Saturday brunch in the inspiring atmosphere of WeeGee!
Inspired by the Arte Povera – A New Chapter exhibition, we’re serving Italian flavors: croissants, focaccia and antipasti, caprese salad, salsiccia, vegetable frittata, and to finish on a sweet note – tiramisu, WeeGee-style. Complete the experience with a mimosa or a specialty coffee – and dive into the union of art and taste.
At 11 am–12.30 pm: Brunch, Restaurant Delicatessen
At 12.30–1.30 pm: Expert Tour of the Arte Povera – A New Chapter (in Finnish), starting point in front of the ticket counter

After the brunch you can join the expert tour by purchasing a museum ticket (€0–20) on site.

Expert Tour of the Arte Povera – A New Chapter at 12.30–1.30 pm:
One of the curators of the exhibition, Tiina Penttilä, talks about the background of the exhibition and the selection of the artworks. Time has been reserved for audience questions.
Arte Povera – A New Chapter explores how women artists have worked in the spirit of the arte povera movement from the 1960s to the present. Arte Povera, directly translating as ‘poor art’, refers to an art movement that emerged in Italy in the late 1960s. Artists in this movement created works using modest, everyday and discarded materials.
The tour is in Finnish.

Cancellation Policy:
Until January 16, 2026: Cancellation is free of charge.
From January 17, 2026: Cancellations until the previous evening will be refunded 50% of the payment.
Same-day cancellations: The full amount will be charged.
