Exhibition Centre was originally designed in the 1960s as a printing house. Instead of typesetters and printing presses, it is today filled with art, history, and cultural events. On this guided tour we will explore Aarno Ruusuvuori’s unique architecture, the distinctive features of the WeeGee building, and the practices of the printing house. What signs of change and use can we still see in the building today? How does the building itself influence the way that we experience and present art and culture displayed in it today? The tour also includes a peek into normally off-limits areas of the WeeGee house.

Perspectives on the WeeGee building will be presented by guides from both EMMA and KAMU Espoo City Museum. The tour is a collaboration with the WeeGee Exhibition Centre team.

You can join the tour either in person at the WeeGee Exhibition Centre or remotely. The tour is held in Finnish.

Join the remote tour here.

The remote tour is free of charge. Participation on location at the price of the museum entrance fee (20/10€, free entry for under 18-year-olds). We accept the Museum Card.

The tour is part of the 2025 Finnish Architecture and Design Days programme. Now in its fifth year, the national festival will focus on celebrating the use, maintenance and repair of buildings and objects.
