As part of EMMA's 20th anniversary in 2026, the Saastamoinen Foundation Collection Exhibition will be newly presented and curated by EMMA’s Director, Krist Gruijthuijsen. Taking over the entire collection exhibition space, the new display celebrates the long-term collaboration between EMMA and Saastamoinen Foundation, the museum’s founding partner.

Alien in Me features works by approximately 50 artists, including Eija-Liisa Ahtila, Ana Lupas, Arno Rafael Minkkinen, Heli Rekula, P. Staff, Jenna Sutela and Gillian Wearing among others. The exhibition invites visitors to reflect on how we coexist, evolve, and connect in an increasingly fluid reality.
