Hans Rosenström: In Dependent Structures
Hans Rosenström's (b. 1978) In Dependent Structures is a spatial audio work that takes the listener to the frontiers of perception. The work can be experienced as part of the Touch exhibition presenting the Saastamoinen Foundation Art Collection. In Dependent Structure is on display as part of the section exploring human, architecture and built environment.
In Dependent Structures utilizes binaural recording technique, where microphones are placed on both sides of the artificial head at the ears. We recommend listening to the work with headphones to convey the intimate soundscape as well as possible.
