Espoo Museum of Modern Art
Our super-popular Children’s Museum Festival will offer plenty of exciting things to see and experience again next year at the WeeGee Exhibition Centre, EMMA, KAMU Espoo City Museum, the Leikki Museum of Play and Museum Kruunu.
On March 16-17 we will host a weekend packed with music, fun and lots of activities related to art, architecture and history.
The Children’s Museum Festival is organized jointly by EMMA – Espoo Museum of Modern Art, the Leikki Museum of Play, WeeGee Exhibition Centre, KAMU Espoo City Museum, and the Finnish Museum of Horology and Jewellery Kruunu, with the additional involvement of the Espoo School of Art and the Arkki School of Architecture for Children and Youth.
Tangible Ceramics | Materials and Experiments in Art
Ceramic artists Kristina Riska and Kim Simonsson, who are featured in EMMA's Collection Kakkonen exhibition, discuss their artistic practice through broken works and prototypes. Free entry.
Music in the Exhibition Space
Musician Anna Mantere moves around the exhibition space while playing atmospheric tunes with the oboe, covering key classical pieces to film music. Inspiration has been drawn from EMMA's current exhibitions.
