The Working with Soil group focuses on the soil and species extinction as its themes. Their researches result in artworks that seek to challenge our thinking and explore new questions. The talk will feature Working with Soil member, artist and researcher Riikka Latva-Somppi and Leif Schulman, Director General of the Finnish Environment Institute, who will discuss biodiversity and the impact of art. The discussion is moderated by Laura Kokkonen, curator of the Ceramics Facing the New exhibition at EMMA. In Finnish.
