IC-98: Theses on the Body Politic (Bind)
August will see the premiere of IC-98’s, i.e. Patrik Söderlund’s (b. 1974) and Visa Suonpää’s (b. 1968), spatial artwork. The new work commissioned by Saastamoinen Foundation will be featured in the approximately 400-square exhibition space of EMMA as part of the collection exhibition Touch. The monumental, animated media artwork depicts the different states and transformations of a rope. Sound plays a pivotal role in the work.
