Maaria Wirkkala's artwork and a new documentary on Rut Bryk on view at EMMA
Maaria Wirkkala's new artwork Mind Mosaic and a documentary on Rut Bryk produced by EMMAare on view before travelling to Japan as part of the Rut Bryk touring exhibition.
Maaria Wirkkala’s new artwork Mind Mosaic is founded on the basic unit of Rut Bryk’s thinking and art: the ceramic module. The work is a biography without words. Mind Mosaic will be on display at EMMA until 14 April, when it will travel to Japan as part of the Rut Bryk touring exhibition. The artwork is realized on traditional Japanese teabox lids. In Japan, the work will be displayed on the teaboxes as a whole.
