The yard of the Exhibition Centre WeeGee will be renovated in summer 2024. Here’s how to get to the museum from June to September! The yard renovation will not affect WeeGee’s opening hours, as all the museums, exhibitions and services in the exhibition centre will be open as normal throughout the summer.

Cars

The parking spaces subject to a fee for passenger cars are located in the Kulttuuriparkki parking facility at Ahertajankuja 5 and at the end of the WeeGee building at Ahertajantie 5.

The car park Kulttuuriparkki is open every day from 6 am to 11 pm (check-in). The cultural park has 100 parking spaces, with two accessible and 16 electric car spaces. Access to the Kulttuuriparkki parking facility is via Ahertajankuja. To get there, take Ahertajantie from the Pohjantie roundabout. Ahertajankuja will be the first road on the right before reaching Exhibition Centre WeeGee.

Charter buses

In June–September, buses are not allowed to drive or park in the WeeGee yard area, and driving to Ahertajantie is not recommended. Buses can use Pohjantie bus stops E2107 and E2108 to drop off and pick up visitor groups. The walking distance from the bus stops to WeeGee’s main entrance is approximately 300 metres. If necessary, buses can be parked in the Metro Areena/Urheilupuisto parking areas at Urheilupuistontie 2 and 3 for the duration of the visits.

Public transport

Coming to WeeGee using public transport is easy. The Tapiola metro station is about a 10-minute walk away from WeeGee. Buses 111, 113, 548 and 549, as well as local buses 116 and 119, come to the intersection of Ahertajantie and Pohjantie at the stop “WeeGee”. The nearest city bike station is located in the vicinity of the Exhibition Centre WeeGee on Ahertajantie.
